سفارة أذربيجان تحيي ذكرى شهدائها بوضع نصب تذكاري لهم في الكواشرة

أقامت سفارة أذربيجان في لبنان وبالتعاون مع بلدية الكواشرة شمال لبنان حفل افتتاح نصب شهداء أذربيجان في ساحة البلدة، تخليداً لذكرى الشهداء الذين لقوا حتفهم في الحرب التي استمرت 44 يوماً.

حضر الحفل ممثلون عن الجمعيات المحلية المعنية بهذه القضية.

استهل الحفل بالوقوف دقيقة صمت لأرواح الشهداء، ثم قدم شاهين باناهوف Şahin Panahov معلومات مفصّلة حول أحداث أذربيجان في لبنان والتي استمرت 44 يوماً وانتهت بتوقيع أرمينيا على وثيقة الاستسلام.

وقال أن هذا النصر لم يكن ليتحقق لولا بطولات ودماء الشهداء، وهذا النصب التذكاري هو دليل لاحترامنا لدمائهم وذكراهم.

The ceremony commemorated the dear memory of our martyrs with a minute of silence and prayed for their holy souls.
Şahin Panahov, who spoke at the opening of the monument, gave detailed information about the events of Azerbaijan in Lebanon, about the 44-day Patriotic War. It works with the signature of the President of Azerbaijan, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Muzaffar Ali Ilham Aliyev, and the 44-day military operations end with the signing of the act of capitation by the occupying Armenia. On the basis of this great Victory, the territory was restored, and large-scale reconstruction work was started in the post-war period. “This glorious Victory was won at the cost of the heroism of the sons of Azerbaijan and the blood of the martyrs, and the monument that we inaugurated today is a sign of deep respect for their memories in Lebanon,” the diplomat said.
At the ceremony, wreaths and flowers were placed in front of the monument.
